Frasier’s Sugar Shack

Meet Bruce Frasier, the man who brings delicious Frasier’s maple syrup to Mohawk Harvest.

Bruce is a New York native, raised in Saint Johnsville where he currently resides with his family. He started making maple syrup with his grandparents at 12 and began tapping maple trees for syrup in 1972 with his father. They started with 200 taps and have since expanded to 4000 taps.  One gallon of syrup requires 55-60 gallons of sap; within a couple of years, Bruce has gone from collecting 200 gallons to 600 gallons.

Mohawk Harvest is proud to carry Frasier’s maple syrups and occasionally some other goodies such as maple candies and maple sugar!

In blueberry season (mid-July to mid-August), the co-op also carries blueberries grown by Bruce & his mother.  All blueberries sold at the co-op are hand-picked and brought down the next morning!
