Become a Member
Mohawk Harvest Co-op is community owned! That means YOU can become a part owner of a grocery store! Becoming a “member” at the Co-op means you own a share of the corporation. There is no volunteer requirement for becoming a member-shareholder.
Why should you join as a member-shareholder of Mohawk Harvest Co-op?
• You will receive discounts on all your Co-op purchases
• You will receive additional discounts for bulk or case ordering, including access to items not specifically carried on our shelves
• You will be supporting local, small-scale, sustainable farming
• You will be able to participate in educational classes and events at a discounted rate
• You will have an official vote in Co-op business, with opportunities to attend the board meetings and our annual meeting
• You will be investing in downtown Gloversville and supporting a business with a mission to provide healthy food and support local farmers and producers!
• Any profit the Co-op makes will be returned to its member-shareholders in the form of a dividend.
Payment Options
We are delighted to have you join the almost 800 of your friends and neighbors as member-owners of Mohawk Harvest.
It is a one-time/lifetime $150 membership fee that you may pay when you’re shopping at the Co-op, through the secure Paypal application below, or by sending the check to Mohawk Harvest Cooperative Market, 30 N. Main Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. Thank-you

1. From Drop Down below choose:
Full Membership:
You will be charged the $150 fee and be a full member-owner of Mohawk Harvest, entitled to all the benefits of Co-op membership.
OR
Layaway $10 Option:
You will be charged $10 which will be applied to your $150 membership fee.
2. Other Amount:
Bypass the Drop Down & enter a valid number in Other Amount (please only whole numbers). You will be charged that amount and it will be applied to your $150 Membership. If you enter Another Amount, that amount will be charged, the Drop Down will be ignored.
If you choose either the Layaway $10 or Other Amount options, you will be able to pay what you can over a period time that best suits your budget. Take as long as necessary, you will never get a bill from us but you will not be considered a member of the Co-op until the $150 is fully paid.
